The GTC aims at promoting networking and cooperation amongst teaching staff of JGU as well as between teachers and students.
With the DIES LEGENDI, the GTC organizes the annual celebration for the appreciation of teaching at JGU. At this event, the winners of the “JGU Teaching Award” are honored for their excellence in teaching. The DIES LEGENDI also offers a opportunity for the exchange on studying and teaching between teachers and students at JGU. In addition to the annual DIES LEGENDI and the Gutenberg Teaching Award ceremonies, the GTC also organizes workshops and events on dedicated topics of university teaching.
